One System for Grooming Appointments and Overnight Boarding

An hourly groom and a four-night stay are completely different bookings. Reservai runs both in the same account, with per-night pricing that works itself out from the dates.

Why Pet Businesses Outgrow Appointment Apps

Zero Risk Financial Model

No monthly subscription and no setup fee. We only earn when you do, charging a small commission on completed bookings.

Appointments and Stays Together

Grooming runs on the clock, boarding runs on the calendar. You do not need two systems, two logins or two sets of numbers at the end of the month.

Accurate Quotes Before Arrival

Coat length, extra treatments and a second dog are all priced at booking. The number the owner sees online is the number they pay at the counter.

Full Feature Suite

Everything a grooming salon and boarding business needs in one place.

Per-Night Boarding

Set one nightly rate and the total works itself out from the dates the owner picks. A four-night stay prices correctly without anyone reaching for a calculator.

Automatic Kennel Assignment

Group your kennels into a pool. Owners book a stay, not a kennel number, and the system holds whichever one is genuinely free for the whole run of nights.

Required Coat Length

Make the owner choose short, medium or long before checkout, with a different price for each. No more re-quoting a matted coat on the table.

Add-Ons Priced Your Way

Charge nail clipping once per visit, an extra walk per day of the stay, and a second dog per pet per day. The pricing model matches how the work actually scales.

Book by chat, not by form

An AI assistant that books grooms and overnight stays in plain language, with the right options priced in. Available as an add-on.

Deposits on Long Stays

Take a percentage deposit on boarding, set a free-cancellation window, and decide what you keep afterwards. Holiday weeks stop being a gamble.

Flexible Booking Logic for Every Pet

Beyond Simple Calendars

Most tools handle appointments or stays. Reservai handles both, on the same rules engine.

  • Two Booking Models: hourly grooming and per-night boarding, in one account.
  • Option Groups: a required coat-length choice that changes the price before checkout.
  • Scaling Add-Ons: priced once, per day, per pet, or per pet per day.

See it work, end to end

From an empty account to a paid, confirmed booking

Every screen below is the real product — no mock-ups. Click any step, or open a screenshot full size.

Step 1 of 20

Eight kennels and two bath stations

Every kennel and every bath station is its own bookable resource with its own calendar. Twelve resources in total, none of which can be claimed twice.

Step 2 of 20

Kennels are rented by the day

The kennel schedule is marked rented as full day, which is what lets a stay be priced per night instead of per hour.

Step 3 of 20

Groomers are staff resources

Speciality and working pattern sit on the person, so an appointment can only land when that groomer is genuinely free.

Step 4 of 20

Two services, two completely different models

A 90-minute groom priced at $68 and an overnight stay priced at $45 a night, running side by side in one account.

Step 5 of 20

The groom: 90 minutes, $68

A duration, a price, and 20 minutes of buffer after every appointment so the station is cleaned before the next dog arrives.

Step 6 of 20

Groomer plus bath station, together

The two bath stations are grouped into a pool. The owner picks a groomer; the engine finds a free station to go with them.

Step 7 of 20

The stay: priced per night, not per hour

Duration set in days with a two-hour turnaround between rentals, so a kennel is cleaned and reset before it can be booked again.

Step 8 of 20

Kennels are assigned automatically

Owners book a stay, not a kennel number. Hiding the choice lets the engine pack the kennels far more efficiently.

Step 9 of 20

All eight kennels attached to the one service

Any kennel that is free for the whole run of nights can take the booking. You maintain one service, not eight calendars.

Step 10 of 20

Cancellation terms, set once

A 24-hour free-cancel window with full refund before it and nothing after, shown to the owner before they confirm.

Step 11 of 20

Both services on one public page

Grooming and boarding listed together, each with its own price, on a page you can share or embed in the site you already run.

Step 12 of 20

The grooming page

The description, the price and the duration you entered, ready to book.

Step 13 of 20

The owner chooses their groomer

Each groomer shown with their own availability. The bath station stays hidden and is matched behind the scenes.

Step 14 of 20

Coat length has to be chosen

Marked required, with a different price for each option shown in your own currency, so a matted coat is priced correctly online instead of re-quoted on the table.

Step 15 of 20

The full breakdown, before they commit

Base price, the coat-length option, each extra and the tax, with your cancellation policy set out on the same screen.

Step 16 of 20

The groom is booked and confirmed

A booking reference and the full itemised total, with the appointment already in the groomer's calendar.

Step 17 of 20

Now the other model: an overnight stay

Same account, same booking page, but this one is priced per night and holds a kennel rather than a time slot.

Step 18 of 20

Three nights, priced from the dates

The owner says how many nights they need and the engine confirms an exact window, checking a kennel is free for every one of them.

Step 19 of 20

Three nights, itemised

The nightly rate multiplied out across the stay, with tax and the cancellation terms shown before anything is confirmed.

Step 20 of 20

Booked, confirmed, kennel held

A booking reference covering all three nights, with the kennel reserved for the full window and blocked for turnaround after.

Reservai AI booking assistant

Let owners book by chatting

Add an AI assistant to your booking page or your salon website so owners can arrange a groom or a stay without a phone call you have to take with wet hands.

A real booking, from a sentence

"Full groom for a medium cockapoo on Saturday, and boarding the week after." The assistant handles both, asks for the required coat length so the price is right, takes the deposit and confirms.

It handles changes too

Owners can come back and ask to move or cancel a booking. The assistant finds it, verifies who they are with a one-time code, and — for a repeating booking — asks whether they mean this one occurrence or the whole series.

It cannot invent availability

The assistant only proposes what the booking engine says is genuinely free, and it applies your deposit and cancellation rules exactly as the booking page would. It reads and writes through the same engine, so it can never promise a slot or a kennel you cannot deliver.

The AI booking assistant is an opt-in add-on: a monthly fee with a bundled token allowance, plus a per-million-token charge if you go over it, billed on your regular platform statement. Everything else on this page works without it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I run grooming appointments and boarding in the same account?

Yes, and that is the point. Create the groom as a service measured in minutes, with a groomer and a bath station attached, and create boarding as a service measured in days with your kennels attached. Both appear on the same booking page and settle into the same reports.

How is a multi-night stay priced?

You set one nightly rate. When an owner picks their dates, the total is calculated from the number of nights automatically, and add-ons charged per day scale with it. Stays can run up to ninety nights.

Can I force owners to choose a coat length before booking?

Yes. Add coat length as an add-on with selectable options and mark it required, giving each option its own price. The owner cannot reach checkout without choosing, so the quote is accurate before the dog is on the table.

How do I stop two dogs being booked into the same kennel?

Each kennel is its own bookable resource, grouped into a pool. The engine reserves one for the entire span of nights, then blocks it for the turnaround time you set before it can be offered again.

What does the AI booking assistant actually do?

It takes a booking end to end from a normal conversation: choosing a groom or a boarding stay, working out the nights from the dates given, asking for required options such as coat length, adding extras, taking the deposit and confirming. It can also find an existing booking and amend or cancel it. It works through the same availability engine as the booking page, so it cannot promise a kennel or a grooming slot that is already taken. It is an opt-in add-on with a monthly fee and a token allowance.

Do I need my own payment gateway?

Yes. if you wish to accept credit card, so you can take deposits on boarding from day one. Connecting your own account will help you do that, however if you only accept cash, then you dont need payment gateway. Reservai currently accept Stripe Gateway!
