The scheduling system controls exactly when your resources are available for booking. You can set regular weekly hours, special date ranges, specific dates, and even closure periods — all with a priority system that lets more specific rules override general ones.
Each schedule entry has a type that determines when it applies:
| Type | What It Does | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Weekly | Repeats on the same days every week | Open Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM |
| Date Range | Applies every day within a start and end date | Summer hours: 1 June – 31 August, 8 AM – 6 PM |
| Specific Date | Applies only on a single date | Open for a public holiday: 1 May, 10 AM – 2 PM |
{primary} You can combine all three types for the same resource. The priority system (see below) decides which one takes effect when they overlap.
For each schedule, you set:
| Field | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Start Time | When the resource becomes available (e.g., 09:00) |
| End Time | When the resource stops being available (e.g., 17:00) |
| Day of Week | (Weekly type) Which days this applies to — click individual days or use the quick buttons |
Quick day selectors:
You can add a break within an operating window — for example, a lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00. The system splits the window into two segments: before the break and after the break. No bookings can start during the break.
To add a break, toggle Has Break Period and enter the break's start and end times.
{info} Buffer (turnaround time) is now set at the service level, not the resource level. See Services & Pricing for details. When creating schedules, you no longer configure buffer here.
The scheduling interval controls how often booking start times appear. For example, with a 30-minute interval, customers can book at 09:00, 09:30, 10:00, and so on.
Available intervals: 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180, 240, 360, 480, 720, or 1440 minutes.
A 1440-minute (24-hour) interval means the resource is booked for the whole day — used for daily rentals.
Sometimes you need to mark a period as unavailable rather than available. Toggle Blocks Availability to turn a schedule entry into a closure.
Use this for:
Closing schedules override availability schedules of lower priority on the same date.
When a resource has multiple schedule entries that overlap on the same date, the priority decides which one wins.
| Schedule | Type | Days | Priority |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regular hours | Weekly | Mon–Fri 9–5 | 1 |
| Summer extended | Date Range | 1 Jun–31 Aug 8–6 | 10 |
| Maintenance closure | Specific Date | 15 Jul (closed) | 20 |
On 15 July (a Tuesday), the system resolves:
You manage schedules per resource. From the /provider/resources page, click the Schedules button on any resource to open its schedule page.
Saved schedules appear as pills grouped by type. Each pill shows:
Click a pill to edit it. Click the trash icon to delete it (with confirmation if there are upcoming bookings).
For resources linked to a day-based service (e.g., vehicle rental), the scheduling form simplifies:
{info} Buffer (turnaround time) for day-based services is configured on the service itself, not the resource schedule. See Services & Pricing.
When a customer searches for available slots, the system:
This all happens automatically — you just set the schedules and the system handles the rest.
