Subscription

The Subscription page shows you what plan you're on, what each plan offers, and lets you switch between plans or add the AI booking add-on.

Your Current Plan

At the top of the page, you'll see a hero section with your current plan details:

  • Plan name — e.g., Starter, Growth, Scale, or Enterprise
  • Usage summary — how many branches, services, and staff you're currently using

A Plan history table at the bottom of the page shows every plan change on your account, what was charged at the time, and a link to the matching statement.

{primary} You can switch plans at any time. Upgrading is a payment moment — you pay for the days left in the current month and the new limits apply as soon as the payment clears. Downgrading takes effect immediately and costs nothing.

Comparing Plans

Below the current plan section, you'll see a grid of plan cards. Each card shows:

Detail What It Means
Plan name and tagline A short description of who the plan is for
Monthly price How much the plan costs per month (shown in your currency)
Branches included How many locations you can have
Services included How many services you can create
Staff included How many team members you can add
Overage fees What you'll be charged if you go over the included limits

Cards are laid out side by side so you can compare plans at a glance. The Recommended plan is highlighted with a brand-coloured border and badge. Your current plan is marked with a Current badge.

{info} If your business's display currency differs from your billing currency, you'll see a small note below the price showing the approximate amount in your billing currency.

Switching Plans

To switch to a different plan:

  1. Find the plan you want in the grid
  2. Click the Switch button on that card
  3. A confirmation dialog appears showing the plan name and monthly price
  4. Click Confirm to proceed

What happens next depends on whether you're upgrading or downgrading:

Change When It Takes Effect What Happens
Upgrade (moving to a higher-priced plan) As soon as the payment clears You are charged up front for the days left in the current month. If the payment fails, your plan does not change.
Downgrade (moving to a lower-priced plan) Immediately Nothing is charged. Any days you already paid for come back as account credit on your next statement.

Changed your mind? Switch back at any time. If you already paid for the current month, you will not be charged twice — the days you paid for are recognised and only the difference (if any) is collected.

{warning} You can downgrade even if you're using more branches, services, or staff than the lower plan allows — the change is not blocked. The extra items are billed as a monthly overage instead, and the confirmation screen shows the estimate before you commit.

AI Booking Add-On

The AI add-on lets customers book services through a chat interface powered by artificial intelligence. You'll find the AI section between your current plan and the plan grid.

How to enable or disable AI:

  1. Find the AI section with the sparkle icon
  2. Click the toggle switch on the right side
  3. Confirm your choice in the dialog

When AI is enabled, you'll see detailed pricing information for your current plan:

  • AI subscription fee — the monthly cost for the AI add-on
  • Included tokens — how many AI conversations are included per month
  • Overage rate — what you'll be charged per million tokens beyond the included amount

{info} AI pricing varies by plan. Higher-tier plans typically include more tokens and a lower overage rate. Check the pricing details section below the toggle for your plan's specific rates.

Usage vs Plan Limits

Your current usage counts are shown next to your plan name at the top of the page. As you add more branches, services, or staff, these numbers increase.

If you go over your plan's included limits:

  • You won't be blocked — your business keeps running
  • You'll be charged overage fees on your next billing statement
  • The overage fees are listed on each plan card

To avoid overage charges, either:

  • Upgrade to a plan with higher limits
  • Reduce your usage (e.g., deactivate unused services)

Commission Rates

Below the plan grid, you'll find a section showing the platform commission rates that apply to your bookings. These are the fees Reservai charges for each booking. The rates shown include:

  • A percentage of the booking amount
  • A fixed fee per booking (if applicable)

Commission rates are set by the platform and may vary depending on your plan. The rates shown are specific to your account and currency.

{info} Commission rates are displayed for your reference. If you have questions about a specific charge, check the transaction breakdown on the Transactions page.

Understanding Overages

The plan cards show what you'll be charged if you go over your included limits. Three icons explain how this works:

Billing explained — your plan fee is collected up front: for the days left in the month when you switch, then in full on the 1st of each month. Commissions, overages and AI charges are billed afterwards on your month-end statement.

Overage explained — when you exceed your plan limits (more branches than included, for example), fees are calculated daily and added to your month-end statement. You are never blocked mid-month.

Plan changes — upgrading applies once the payment clears. Downgrading applies immediately, with unused prepaid days returned as account credit.

Plan Change Policies

  • Upgrades are paid up front. You are charged for the days left in the month, and the plan changes only once that payment succeeds.
  • Downgrades take effect immediately and cost nothing. Unused prepaid days come back as account credit on your next statement.
  • AI add-on changes take effect immediately. The fee and the included tokens are both prorated to the days the add-on was switched on, and billed on your month-end statement — nothing is charged at the moment you toggle it.
  • Changing plans does not delete your data. If you downgrade and exceed the new plan's limits, your data is preserved and the excess is billed as overage.
