Security Settings

{info} Security Settings let you change your password, manage active sessions, and verify your phone number.

Overview

Open Security Settings from the Account section of the sidebar. Here you can manage your login credentials and review which devices are logged into your account.

Changing Your Password

You can change your password using one of two methods:

Using Your Current Password

If you already know your current password:

  1. Open Security Settings.
  2. Enter your Current Password.
  3. Enter and confirm your New Password.
  4. Click Save.

Your password is updated immediately. Other devices logged into your account will be signed out.

Using OTP (Email Verification)

If you have not set a password before or have forgotten your current password:

  1. Click Use email OTP to switch to the OTP method.
  2. Click Send OTP Code — a 6-digit code is sent to your email.
  3. Enter the code and your new password.
  4. Click Save.

{warning} The OTP code expires after a short period. If it expires, request a new one.

Password Setup via OTP

If your account was created by your provider (as a staff member), you may not have a password yet. When you log in for the first time:

  1. You will be directed to set a password using the OTP method.
  2. Request an OTP code — it is sent to your email.
  3. Enter the code, set your password, and confirm.
  4. Your password is saved and you can proceed to the dashboard.

{info} Resending an OTP code is rate-limited. Wait for the cooldown period before requesting another code.

Active Sessions

The Active Sessions section shows all devices currently logged into your account. For each session you can see:

  • The device or browser type
  • The IP address
  • When the session was created
  • When it was last active

To log out of a session remotely, click Revoke next to it. This is useful if you logged in on a shared computer and forgot to sign out.
